Windows can be made with sapphire, optical spinel, quartz, fused silica, BK7, grin lenses, or other transparencies. Hermetically sealed ceramic windows are ideal for applications which experience high temperatures or pressures. STC Material Solutions has successfully developed and produced a wide variety of hermetic window assemblies for many different end-users.
